Professional Writers, Musicians, Visual Artists, Dancers,
Storytellers, Actors and Actresses who are interested in working with classroom
teachers and students may submit their resume to the Arts in Education Institute
for consideration. Teaching Artists (TAs) will train and participate in the work
of the institute during the two weeks of Summer Session. Work is intermittent
and part-time during the school year. Information sessions for prospective Teaching
Artists are usually held in February for the following summer and school year.

ARTS INFUSION GRANTS AVAILABLE
Arts Infusion Grants are available to fund short-term
projects that combine the arts with non-arts subjects in support of the New York
State Learning Standards (http://usny.nysed.gov/teachers/nyslearningstandards.html).
These projects may be initiated by Teaching Artists or Cultural Organizations
partnering with public or private schools in Oneida and Herkimer counties. For
